2010 CK&CWUW

 

May 14th is the 2010 Come Kamp And Care With Us Weekend. This weekend is the jumpstart for KOA owners to fundraise for KOA Care Camps.  This year we have a record of over 390 kampgrounds participating!  Most KOA kampgrounds will be having a variety of events to aid in the fundraising effort.  I encourage you to make a reservation at a KOA kampground in your area for the CK&CWUW and show your support for this worthwhile cause.  As you check out this website you will see some video’s of children that have attended a KOA Care Camp, testimonials, a list of all the KOA Care Camps, as well as some history of how it all began. Please do your part, we want you to participate and donate.   Reserve your kampsite today.  It’s as easy as www.koa.com. We want to help these kids take a break from their life threatening illness and just have some fun at kamp!

About KOA Owners Association Care Camps Program

Care Camps is a non-profit charity of the KOA Owners Association that helps send kids with cancer to special camps where they can enjoy camping and recreation experiences, but more importantly, it allows them to feel “normal,” like other kids, for a week a year.  We have 501 (c) 3 status with the IRS.
