Philadelphia/West Chester KOA
PO Box 92 Unionville, PA 19375
Lori Levesque, along with her husband Gary, are the proud owners of the Philadelphia/West Chester KOA Campground. The Levesque’s have been campground owners for over twenty-five years. Lori’s responsibilities include managing the store, gift shop, coordinates the events and activities, along with a passion for transforming and improving each RV site. Lori coordinates fun-filled and educational activities for the children campers such as an Arts and Crafts Extravaganza, provides entertainment such as magicians to perform magic and Zoo representatives, who bring animals the children can pet, feed and learn about.
Lori has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Prior to owning her campground, she was a Systems Analyst for Citicorp Mortgage in St. Louis, Missouri. The creative arts, research, teaching and matters of health, nutrition, and wellness are her passions! Recently, she was able to exercise her creativity in the remodeling of the entire gift shop, which has doubled in size and merchandise. She took inspiration from the Philadelphia Flyers VIP Room in terms of the shop’s new color scheme and design, and strove to add modern colors and designs to elevate the atmosphere.
To further the expansion of the campground, Gary and Lori’s daughter will be joining the team and begin managing the administrative details of the store, so Lori can focus more of her efforts in the campground’s renovations. One project she hopes to achieve in the upcoming years is a Children’s Treehouse.
Lori is part of KOA’s first Twenty Group – The Northeast Twenty Group: a close-knit group of twenty KOA Parks in the Northeast region. The members of this group are supportive and very empathetic to each other’s’ campground concerns.
