COCA-I Hits Capitol Hill

On May 17, COCA-I will join more than one hundred advocates as part of the Alliance for Childhood Cancer hitting the halls of Congress in Washington, DC to “STEP UP” for children and families at Childhood Cancer Action Days. http://www.allianceforchildhoodcancer.org

Care camps will be part of the collective chorus urging House members and Senators to co-sponsor the Childhood Cancer Survivorship, Treatment, Access and Research (STAR) Act, http://www.allianceforchildhoodcancer.org/legislative-activity/star-act.html while also raising awareness about how children’s oncology camps provide important healing experiences for children and families that help make quality of life happen.
